Use this guide to design a beautiful school homepage from the front-end settings screen. No technical steps required.

1) Open the Homepage Settings #

  1. Sign in with your school account.
  2. Visit Homepage Settings (usually at /homepage-settings/).
  3. You’ll see friendly fields for each area of the homepage.
Permission note: Only users who have been granted access by an administrator can view this page.

2) A Quick Tour of Sections #

  • Hero — Title, description, badges (e.g., “NEP 2020”), and a hero image.
  • Notices — Short bulletins (can link to PDFs or pages).
  • Today’s Schedule — Simple list of times and activities.
  • Upcoming Events — Optional Google Calendar feed.
  • Academics (Classes 6–12) — Subject cards per class.
  • AI Study Hub — Cards for AI tools/resources.
  • Clubs & Activities — Gallery of clubs with links.
  • Our Achievements — Small counters (Students, Awards, etc.).
  • Contact & Testimonials — Address, phone, email, socials, and quotes.

3) What to Type in List Fields #

For speed, list fields use simple, copy‑friendly lines:

  • Notices: Notice text | https://link-optional
  • Today’s Schedule: 09:30 | Maths – Class 8
  • Academics (each class): Algebra Basics | Practice set & notes | https://page-or-pdf
  • AI Study Hub & Clubs: Tool or Club Name | Short info | https://link-optional
  • Achievements: Awards | 12
  • Socials: YouTube | https://youtube.com/@yourschool

4) Adding Images & PDFs #

  1. Click the Select/Upload Image or Upload PDF button next to a field.
  2. Choose from the Media Library or upload a new file.
  3. For images, also add a short Alt text (good for accessibility).

5) Save & Review Checklist #

  1. Press Save Settings.
  2. Open your homepage in a new tab and refresh.
  3. Check on phone and tablet sizes.
  4. Keep hero text short (one clear promise + a supportive line).
  5. Prefer 3–6 items per list for balance; you can always add more later.

6) Tips & FAQ #

  • Why don’t I see updates? Refresh the homepage and clear the browser cache if needed.
  • How many items are shown? Notices (up to 8), Schedule (up to 12), Achievements (up to 9), and so on—keeping things neat.
  • Can I link PDFs? Yes—upload the PDF and paste its link in the field.
